Silvia Tessi is a painter whose work reflects a lifelong dedication to visual expression. Originally inspired by a deep curiosity for art at a young age, she continued developing her practice after moving to the United States; studying drawing, portraiture, and figurative oil painting at the Visual Arts Center of New Jersey. Her work has been exhibited in communities throughout New Jersey, including Morristown, New Jersey and Summit, New Jersey, as well as internationally in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Silvia later expanded her design and creative perspective through studies in Interior Design at the Parsons School of Design. While pursuing her academic and professional work in design, she continued to cultivate her painting practice, experimenting with a range of mediums including encaustic, monoprint, acrylic, and watercolor.
