Margarita Somnolet

Margarita Somnolet is an internationally exhibiting artist based in New York City. Born in Mexico, she began her creative path studying interior design before expanding her artistic practice in New York. There, she studied painting at the Art Students League of New York and later explored photography and sculpture at the Visual Arts Center of New Jersey.

Working primarily with alcohol inks and acrylics, Margarita creates vibrant, expressive compositions that highlight fluid color and movement. Her multidisciplinary background informs a distinctive visual language, resulting in works that are both dynamic and visually engaging.
